Meet The TeamOur team have helped support over 1000 people in 4 years, providing over 147,000 days of support. Their support was crucial over the pandemic as referrals increased by 260%. We are currently taking on extra referrals from partners in support of an NHS pilot to support those identified with issues around alcohol and substance misuse; they have provided £85,000 for an 18-month pilot, which is also very exciting.
All members of the team have completed Mental Health First Aid training, selected members of the team have completed Mediation and Restorative Justice training, and they are all Certified Professional Recovery Coach and Systemic Wellness Practitioners; this training is aimed to help them fulfil the role as an area coordinator, along with their previous life experiences and professional qualifications.

What We Do
We will support someone for as long as they need us; all they have to do is be willing to engage; we will catch them when they fall, be non-judgemental and we will always be there for them. We aim to leave people with hope and confidence to lead a happier and more fulfilling life; by helping them to feel safer and improve the circumstances they have found themselves in.
Our core values aim to ensure everyone is EMPOWERED to make life changing choices:
For people to make positive changes and decisions for themselves with support, words of encouragement can help you think straight.
Treat others the way you would like to be treated, mutual respect is a key concept in keeping relationships alive and healthy.
Is intended to help you become clearer about your own identity, what you want in life, your life vision and how to transform your life.
To change and to try unfamiliar things, being open involves seeking out new experiences and looking into new ideas.
Does not have one set meaning, we might use it to talk about how we feel & how we are coping with daily life or what feels possible at the moment.
Real empathy is sometimes not insisting that it will be ok, but acknowledging that it is not, our volunteers will walk with you.
We will be realistic & honest, we will accept and be there to always support. Real transformation requires honesty from all.
Are about giving value to every human being, no matter what our differences, everyone has a voice that should be heard
Recognising everyone’s capacities & ambitions, never undermine it, respect for what they can do and who they are.
